Thanks guys. The amazing thing to me is that the ride is BETTER with the 19" than it was with the 17" sport wheels. Not that it was a bad ride, but these are much smoother. It must be due to non-runflat tires. I am glad the camera caught the depth of the finish in these wheels. The silver is real deep, and the lip is outrageous! In any light, these things in motion simply are off the chart!!
I would reccomend them highly! They look like they should cost 4 to 5 grand!! |

No, not running run-flats. All M series cars have no spare, and no runflats. They use an "M-mobility kit" basically a vERY expensive version of this...http://www.slime.com/smartspairs/
On long trips I will carry a spare (saved my wheels) it's not a real big concern. Plus replacement of one of these 19" beauties is still over $150 less than a run-flat, and they are REPAIRABLE!! (runflats are NOT) Last edited by JIMD1709; 08-25-2005 at 03:55 PM.. |

Yeah, this is an entirely different subject, but I prefer not having run-flats. The comprimise in ride, plus cost to replace just isn't worth it to me. The smart-spair will work in a pinch. If not I have roadside assist.
But, the bottom line is these awesome wheels and tires were the reason for ditching the run-flats. (not available in the 265mm rear). Look at it this way, for $400 more than replacing my four run-flats I got these staggered 19" wheels AND 19" Eagle F1 tires. The handling has greatly improved. And, trust me THEY RIDE BETTER! |

They were around $1900 shipped, with the BMW center caps at n/c through tirerack. They were REAL low on supply when I ordered, with the next batch a month away, so I would get an order in now if you want them. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1's, and are 235/35/19 front, 265/30/19 rear and are on special right now @$209 each. Thought that was a steal. Good luck, and thanks!
BTW the pesky little wheel shimmy I had between 45 and 55mph.......GONE! Last edited by JIMD1709; 08-25-2005 at 06:10 PM.. |

Wow - a really sweet setup - the car looks fantastic with those wheels. Thanks for the pics.
By the way, there is a guy on eBay selling the Smart Spair package for $20 delivered. Search on 'Smart Spair'. (no affiliation) .

Congratz wheels look great. However is it the pictures or just me?, it almost looks like it has no tire, the side profile of the tire looks very small, like it needs a bigger tire or a suspension drop, specially in the third picture.

Hi JIMD1709,
Your car looks nice with the wheels......... Did you drop it down or it's just a stock suspension? Alpine white is a really nice color........Great choice!!!!!!! Enjoy the ride Woods |

Wheels look great. The silver trim around the window would be necessary to tie the design all together with the silver of the rim. why didn't you get the 330i? Looks a lot better than 325.
