The BMW M1 photo with advanced production bodywork was spotted storming the Germany countryside. Sporting the same bodywork as previously seen here, seen is a a more aggressive front end, larger fenders, a trunk-mounted lip spoiler, big alloy wheels and cross-drilled rotors appear.

The rear track looks from these photos to be considerably wider than the standard 1 series. If true this should give it a 'Go-kart' feel which would be very pleasant.

i don't like the front bumper. it looks too much like the x6/x5m. i think it's quite terrible actually. the current m3 bumper is much nicer, with more curves. this front bumper looks boxy, yet the rear of the car looks the opposite..

i like the current 135 lip better

Here is a comparison picture between the M1 and M3 fenders. I actuallt like the m1 fenders better.

looks like each side got an extra inch. Wheels/Tires to me look like 235's on a 8.5 and 265's on a 9.5. anyone else agree?

All a matter of taste really--I have a hard time "seeing" everything with that psychadelic crap all over the car, but I think we can all agree that there will at least be more room for rubber, up front and in the back....

I would also guess that while the M1 and M3 might share some things under the body, they will be made to look disctintly different. It seems obvious to me that the M3 will continue to look better and get more "unique" items, as it seems to be the true flagship of the ///M division...

I really just wish they could do something about the headlights of the M1....that is truly my only gripe with how the car looks....I think it is going to drive and ride great though....

Look how wide the Sedona Red mule is!!!!

I don't recall seeing a photo from this angle--where you could really tell how much wider the ///M will be......

i agree the side shot looks pretty good. i think the head on view, of the front bumper, doesn't look good. very similar to the x5/x6m..too boxy IMO

I agree, the psychadelic crap does make my eyes hurt. I keep going back and fourth about getting an M3 or an M1.

Did you see the pic of the Sedona Red M1 mule I posted above? Man--it looks a lot more aggressive from that angle--there is a yellow M3 next to it--wish we could have seen more of them side-by-side...

I think this is going to a little beast.....
