As promised, here is the first ever video of the BMW M1 production body test car hotlapping the Nurburgring, as well as footage from near the track. The M1 looks fast and very firmly planted around the turns, with minimal bodyroll, as well as sounding terrific!

WOW, this thing is a MONSTER.

The more I see this M1, the more I want it to be faster than the M3, and so the fastest BMW up to date, until BMW Supercar comes out.

I don't think it sounds too much different from the series car. I was hoping to hear some camshaft blub blub, but I guess its really early still.

Looks really good in motion, proportions look perfect.

i can't wait!!!!!! i wonder if they'll keep the dual exhaust instead of the quads like all the other M cars. It definitely would be lighter this way

That sounds awesome!! Should make for a great car assuming it doesn't have fuel pump issues haha... Too bad that my next car needs to be a 4 door (CTS-V hopefully) otherwise this would probably be it.
