HID Help

I have a 2010 135i
It came with HID`s and the adaptive lighting.
The stock HID`s are 4200k or 4300k or something like that.
I wanted to change them to 6000k
So I ordered the 6000k D1S Bulbs from JleviSW.
When I put them in not only did they not work, it gave me a warning light in my DIC, so I put the stock bulbs back in.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss a step somewhere? Is there some trick to this that I'm un aware of? Can someone help me and point me in the right direction?
Thanks

if both sides are out, sounds like an install problem...try rechecking the connectors or plugs, if they still don't work, you can send them back to be tested and replaced..

I didn't really think that the bulbs were faulty.
The fact that both of them did not work lead me to believe I was doing something wrong.

Before i go rip the front of the car apart again, I just wanted a little clarification, theres nothing about the 2010 or the adaptive headlights that would make it so any other bulbs would not be compatable, right?

I think the bulbs are defective, they are pretty simple to pop in and out.

Nothing special about the 2010 models however if both are not working, it sounds like it could be something more than just defective bulbs. Try swapping the bulbs and reseating the connectors.
