Vanguard Exhaust

Vanguard's V.2 exhaust for the N54 works for the N55.
direct bolt on, no probs.

Long Tran gave me the call Sunday evening, drove down to
LTBMW and he test fit'd the exhaust. A really clean install.
fit's perfect for the 335i N55.

I'll break her in for a week or so before I dyno.

stock OEM exhaust
no secondary cats or res.

Oooh that does sound good! I like it a lot better on the N55 rather than N54!

I think breaking in a exhaust is because the sound changes... You should post a second video after your break in period of what 200? 500 miles?

Wow did they change the vanguard exhaust because it sounds way better than before. Maybe its the N55 but i love how it sounds on this car compared to any other on this forum.

no, that's the same exhaust for the N54.
it's Vanguard's V.2 - it's deff the N55 making it sound sic.
stock N55 exhaust sound'd good, IMO.

HKS design? Same resonator positioning. Same H-pipe placement.

yes it does look the HKS exhaust.
the cans do look a bit different.

The tips are adjustable now so that's very nice.
