Is it time to say bye to my tires?

Hey guys,

I have had my RFT since day one and it's now 20,000 miles and worn out and time to get new set of tires. I probably want to stick my rims that came with the sport package for now. One other question I have is, what offsets can I use for the sport package wheels? i believe my offsets are 215/40 and 245/35. Any tires you guys recommend?

Thanks

Those are tire sizes not offsets. Use the stock sizes or use 225/35 and 255/30. My rear stock runflats are pretty toast at 10k miles. 20k is impressive.

Depends on driving style, if you drive it as Cadillac, then 20K miles looks reasonable. I have about 15K miles and tires have plenty to wear. I am setimate to replace mine at 30K.

I'm approaching 17K and it's pretty loud and tires almost gone, looking to replace & upgrade to 18" wheels.

can the 225/40, 255/35 fit on M-Sport wheels, and do these give a square sidewall as opposed to the slightly stretched stock look?

That's the size I'd go to, 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. Those tires would be a little wider and slightly taller, should work fine. 30 profiles tires are much harder to find and of course give you much less tire to protect your rim. Many don't even go to 30 profiles even after they go up to 19" wheels.

thanks guys

so i should go with 225/40, 255/35 right? and what tires do you guys recommend; not the most expensive but also have a nice sport feeling to it and has longevity. I was thinking michelin ps2 but they're kind of expensive i hear. Any recommendation would be appreciated.

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to tires so if i get those sizes for my tires could i still put on csl style in 18s?

Lastly, do you guys think 18s or 19s?
