Berk Technology N55 Street Performance Exhaust Dyno Numbers!!!

The first independent dyno results we've seen for our Street Performance N55 exhaust systems are in! They come from PTuning out in Virginia and they show impressive gains across the entire RPM range!

Here is the baseline dyno, done on a 2011 BMW 135i 6MT:

And here is the dyno done after installation of our full Street Performance exhaust system (mid-pipes + axle-back):

The results are +15.5whp and +20.7wtq across nearly the entire powerband!

Our slogan is "Track Tested, Dyno Proven" and we try to stay true to that by putting out products that perform taking into consideration everything from power to weight reduction. Our Street Performance exhaust system sheds 20 lbs. of weight over the stock exhaust system with improved looks, improved performance, and OEM quality fit & finish.

You can get your hands on our exhaust system at your favorite Berk Technology dealer!

I would love to hear how this exhaust sounds on the N55.

We couldn't really tell a difference in sound between the N54 and N55 with the same exhaust system. Here is a video of the EAS 135i N54 with this exhaust on it.

How can you not know?

This exhaust is on my shopping list.

Question: what's the difference between the Berk midpipes and stock?

The Berk Technology midpipes use larger diameter piping than stock, plus it removes the OEM rear resonator box and secondary catalytic converters and replaces them with straight through resonators. And they're shiny...

Sorry, I meant the N55 stock midpipes which don't have cats. Are yours larger diameter than the N55 pipes as well?

Have you tried it on a convertible yet? Will it hit the extra bracket in the back?
Thx

Yes. Have to replace downpipe to get rid of the Cat. This system only replaces mid-pipes and back.

To answer this, Ptunning uses what they call the "hear breaker dyno" it is possibly one of the lowest measuring dynos out there. its all in the dyno used.

Absolutely not true! this thing sounds incredibly mean, and is noticeably louder. However, It added quite a bit of vibration to the ride at low RPM's but the sound and power is well worth it. I’ll try to upload some sound clips once I have the time

Larger diameter tubing, smooth mandrel bends, straighter flow path, fabricated merge collector, lighter weight, better than OEM materials, and don't forget shiny.
