Probably not. Its a refundable deposit, so I doubt it guarantees me anything. However, I'm first on the list at my dealer, and I'm skeptical that a manual only expensive 1 series will sell out immediately, so think my odds are pretty good. If not, a 135 with M-sport package will likely be my consolation prize

It's already been stated many times - at the 2011 NAIAS @ Detroit (in January).

Thost are not LCI lights so I imagine that is why they have masking. You can tell they are the current lights by the halo rings. They are the old halogen style still.

Maybe later in Closed room @ M Power.

Much of the launch hype/stuff has a bias to the US market (as the largest M buyer) so I guess it could be later this evening for UK if that's the case.

I've got a quick question, please pardon me if there was an obvious answer posted somewhere else, is there going to be 2 year run of the upcoming 1m?

I believe I had seen a post, in some thread, regarding the 1m as being a one year run car...

I think that would be quite foolish, especially with the LCI, just being released and the 1er coupe being scheduled to run through 2012, correct?

Life Cycle Impulse, basically a refresh of the car...typically when you'll see the LED lights being added to the car.

Hey guys...
did you see this:

I think behind the tape there is something in valencia orange doing a curve to make a different shape to the headlights.

And remember.. this are EU headlights.. so they usually are white in the corners.

I just checked it on my 1 series *EU*.. and where the tape is.. there is a white reflecting background.
I hope the background of the headlights will be black like this one:

there you also see the reflecting part in the corners....

What you see in this spy photograph in regards to the front headlights is what you will see in the 1er Coupe and Cabrio LCI, including the 1M Coupe.
Because the lightbars are slanted to mimic the new hatch , it gives an evil presence when illuminated.

The eyebrow light bars bring in a kinship with the new 1er Sporthatch which allows the Coupe to be accomodated alongside the next generation model prior to the next generation Coupe and Cabrio models in a couple of years.

A very close render of the next 1er Sporthatch (F20).
If you look at this and the spy photographs of the LCI Coupe you can see the simularities undertaken to blend in with the new car, especially at the lights and lower bumper aerodynamics.
