Oil temp higher than before

I had a software upgrade last May for my 09 135i.
It is the one intended to address the long cranks issue, and the one that now primes the low pressure fuel pump as you unlock the doors.

In my 1, one negative is that throttle response has suffered since the update.
But, the point of this thread is to ask if anyone else has seen their oil temps go up since that update?

I used to have an average oil temp around 220-230F, even when driving hard and in warmer temps the oil temp would go to around 240F, but come down after letting things cool.
Now, my oil temps are consistently between 235F-245F, driving normally with ambient temps around 67F.

Anyone else experience this?
One thing I could guess that might cause this is a leaner running condition, but I can't see BMW doing that. Plus, a leaner run should produce more power, but if anything my 1 feels a tad lower in power than before. Maybe the oil cooling thermostat was altered?
