S688A (HK) vs S677A (Top Hi-Fi) Premium Audio Differences
What's the difference between S688A (HK) vs S677A (Top Hi-Fi). It looks like all the components are the same, including DSP/Amplifier, except the tweeter and tweeter grill is different. I know S688A was new for 2011 and replaces the former S677A for premium audio. I thought it was just the label on the grill but looks like the actual tweeter is different part number too (65139217910).

HK IS Top HiFi, in that the Top audio system is Top HiFi from a service POV, whether it's called DSP, or h/k, or Logic 7, by us consumers.
But it's nice to hear the tweeter changed ![]()

Thread revival but this is the only thread on the entire forum that returns a result under part number: 65139217910
I can confirm that these Harmon Kardon tweeters DO fit the pre-LCI/2010 E82. I have installed these to my 2008 135i in place of the 65136964013 Logic 7 tweeters. I can't say I notice any difference in sound, I imagine that they are the same.
