plm or raceland
I have two options to buy a downpipes, plm 3" downpipes for a 300$ or raceland 2,5" for a 200$.
I don´t know if the 0,5" is necessary and if what´s the most quality of them. Thanks for your opinion.

I bought a used set of racelands that came with the BMS DP fix for 190 shipped from a member on here. I installed them last night an seriously couldn't be happier. I was really surprised by how much power they added. Feels like they added a easy 15-20 to the wheels. Fitment was actully alot better than I expected too. Hope this helps.

I just installed my PLM's yesterday, so far them seem to fit pretty well and really have no complaints. Do yourself a favor and read the downpipe DIY if you are going to do the install, I did not and did it without moving the steering gear and I can tell you it was such a PITA to get the clamps reinstalled. With the steering gear out of the way it would have saved my hrs and some skin on my knuckles. I also installed my Agency Power Mid Pipes, Injen intake and RSD Charge Pipe and I need to go get 1 hose clamp before I can drive it. I will post updates later today.

Just got pack from a quick ride after installing the PLM Downpipes, Agency Power Mid Pipes, Injen intake, RSD Charge Pipe and bumping the JB3 from map 3 to 5. All I can say is its a beast, seems to have way to much power for stock tires, the car goes sideways from a 45 mph roll. The exhaust has a very good sound and I really like the sound of the rsd charge pipe with the HKS SSQV. Seems to rev extremely quick with the new pipes. The only real issue I had with the PLM's is I had trouble with both the upper O2 sensors, they seemed to crash right into each other, I ended up moving both the O2's on the frt pipe to the outlet end since it had an extra bung welded in and plugged the top hole, had to reroute the O2 cord from back corner of valve cover straight down. Overall I cant imagine why you would spend more then $300 on downpipes I cant imagine much of a power difference from the high $ pipes.

There were not so many inexpensive dowpipe options back just a year ago. I guess those of us that paid more can just grasp on the idea that maybe our pipes are better made and therefore more durable..lol.

I did not cross the O2 sensors, as I agree that would be a horrible idea and cause all sorts of issues. There is a pre and post cat O2 sensor in both pipes, on the frt turbo downpipe I just relocated the pre cat sensor lower in the pipe closer to the post cat sensor, since there is no cat it wont matter anyways. The PLM downpipes have three weld bungs on each pipe, so 1 position is plugged in each pipe.

I went from 2.5" VK to 3"MS downpipes and I felt a difference. They were both bolted up to agency power catless exhaust.
Plus I also feel better having less backpressure when running 17psi with meth.
