Extended warranty? - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Did anyone buy the extended BMW warranty, not the maintenance package, for the 135i? I got quotes from a few Chicago land dealerships and prices vary significantly! What should be the approximate cost? My car is an 08 with ~37k miles.

Would love to know the answer to this as well. Is it possible to purchase the extended warranty from BMW even if you buy a used 135i from another dealership?

I looked into a BMW extended warranty about six years ago when I was thinking of keeping my 3 series longer than the warranty. They said you can get it anytime before the original warranty expires. I opted to not get the extended warranty due to the high cost. I think they wanted almost $3,000 for an additional 2 years/50K miles which ever came first. Plus you pay $50 every time you take it to the dealer. I just bought a new Z4 instead.

I did buy an extended warranty for my 2006 Tacoma. On a Tacoma forum they had a Toyota dealer selling extended warranties for $800 instead of $2000. Plus it extended the warranty 4 years/50k miles with no charges out of my pocket. If we had a BMW dealer on 1 Addicts selling BMW extended warranties for less than half off I would buy one and keep the 135i longer.

Usually Maitience Upgrade For Additonal 2 Years 50 K Is Any Were From 2000 To 2800 From What Ive Seen

Hi just want to share: You can buy an extended warranty bumper to bumper coverage from BMW dealership. i planing to get one for my car 2 mos ago. i asked them if i can have and extended warranty for my car. it will cost $2800 for 75k miles but my friend told me to ask AUL insurance so i did. it cover everything for 100k for $2500 my can is under bmw warranty as of now. but my car has the extended warranty till 2016.
