Post Gorgeous and Informative 1M Catalog (PDF format)

In case you didn't spot it on BMW's 1 series M coupe visualizer minisite, here is the gorgeous (and informative) 1M coupe catalog in digital format for download. Read through it and it will be clear to most that this isn't merely a 135i with an M badge attached.

Under Exterior colours section, "They will be happy to show you samples and assist you with any special requests". ???

How does the overboost function work? On demand or automatically engage at certain RPM?

wot! Catalog looks good. I think I'm really impressed with the 1M more-so because of how the other future models all look the same.

Anyone notice this (from the Exterior Colors page):

Does that mean BMW Individual Program?

Update: I guess I should read the previous posts. Already mentioned.

It appears that the catalog is not for tailored for the US. Note the British English language (spelling) and metric measurements posted.

Perhaps those "special requests" aren't for the US market.. I hope they are, we'll just have to wait for more evidence...

I'll assume we won't get the BMW online option in the states.

I would not read too much into the statements and option list in the brochure. It is not for the US market.

Other countries have have more access to BMW Individual than the US. Also many options listed are either standard in the US market or not available.

just thought I'd also let everyone know that I witnessed a JB3 (no nitrous) 135i run a 11.6XX at 120mph at the track last weekend, so this engine has plenty of powa potential!!

This is a good car. I am going to wait 1-2 years to pick a slightly used one instead of taking the plunge. Once bitten twice shy with that pump.

That's great. Did they mention if this 1M had a reworked driveshaft? I may have missed it.
