hello, i jsut wanna say that i just picked up my new 135i here in south germany (U.S. spec) and i love it. its everything i thought it would be.
cant wait till the break in process is over..... im half way there

are there any good car shows or bmw meets here?

Welcome. Outdoor car shows startup in April in Germany. The mega car show (Techno Classica) in Essen is coming up at the end of next month. March 30th thru April 3rd, 2011.

Because American military/civilian personnel working for the US government cannot bring back to the US a European specifications car unless its converted over to US specifications and also meets emissions requirements that are different between both nations.

Also, you would probably be paying more in euros than what the car is worth in $$, and when it comes time to sell...........I won't even go there

Chop, welcome to the crew. Where did you buy your 135i? Will definetly keep you infromed if you're interested in hitting the events and tracks throughout the year.

Welcome to the forums...most of us US military also have the 135. We are planning on a ring trip with the German 1'er club on 14-15 May if you are interested.
