Best exhaust clip so far?

A couple of weeks ago someone posted a short video of the 1M, it might have been from the Detroit auto show. The exhaust sounded great.

I'm not able to find the clip now.. Oh well.

In any case, why not post sound clips here, what few there are so far!

Sounds great, however, it's in a closed room.

But the walls directly behind and on the side plays with the sound as well.

Great sound nonetheless. Best version I've heard so far.

I could sit here and listen to that all day! Such a great sound. I love the growl that, not only this 1M makes, but the 135i in general. You just dont expect such an aggressive sound to come out of a little car.

wait, is that revving coming from the car itself or is it over the audio system?? I'm very suspicious.

I'm sure it's the car. They wouldn't have tried to pull a stunt like that at Detroit. That would be all credibility out the window.

If production hasn't begun, could they still be tweaking the exhaust?

It was the actual car you heard and it was mic'd.

Ohhh gotcha, I thought he was implying that the engine didn't actually start but that it was solely played out from a digital source.

Good info!

I love the sound even if it was inside and had some "assistance" with acoustics or not..... Can't wait to see\hear it in person...

I still believe that the exhaust sound in Detroit was more or less fake, but they showed what they're trying to achieve since this is not a finished product. Hopefully!!!

I tend to believe BMWNA_ MGuy, when he posted earlier that the sound is actually from the car.

Yeah, but the prototype cars on other videos sound quite different from that one shown in Detroit. Since they should be the same, I guess the Detroit sound is tuned a little.

Yeah I noticed that too. Hopefully the production version gets it right.
