Best exhaust clip so far? - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

A couple of weeks ago someone posted a short video of the 1M, it might have been from the Detroit auto show. The exhaust sounded great.

I'm not able to find the clip now.. Oh well.

In any case, why not post sound clips here, what few there are so far!

But the walls directly behind and on the side plays with the sound as well.

I could sit here and listen to that all day! Such a great sound. I love the growl that, not only this 1M makes, but the 135i in general. You just dont expect such an aggressive sound to come out of a little car.

I'm sure it's the car. They wouldn't have tried to pull a stunt like that at Detroit. That would be all credibility out the window.

I still believe that the exhaust sound in Detroit was more or less fake, but they showed what they're trying to achieve since this is not a finished product. Hopefully!!!

I tend to believe BMWNA_ MGuy, when he posted earlier that the sound is actually from the car.

Yeah, but the prototype cars on other videos sound quite different from that one shown in Detroit. Since they should be the same, I guess the Detroit sound is tuned a little.
