Sirius install on 2011?
Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about a Sirius install in 2011's requiring a new radio. I had purchased my 2011 135i w/ Premium & M-Package but unfortunately no Sirius which the dealer agreed to add for me once the car was delivered to me. They told me they missed a part they needed and that they would call me once it came in. This is over a month ago. When I went to the dealer, they are telling me that it isn't just the Sirius tuner anymore, but rather a new radio too? It isn't costing me anything extra but it's the first I've heard of thing. The DIY's I've seen on here just involve plugging the tuner in. |

Just so you know, our 2010 128 Conv needed a new audio amplifier. We waited 21 days for the dealer to get one in due to Back order situation. (Had 2 different brand new nice loaners the whole time) I'm guessing that it, and probably some other BMW Branded electronic parts are sourced from Japan, which due to the earthquake/Tsunami is unable to deliver, hence the delay.
