Question for owners of BSM 1Ms.

For those of you with Sun Protection Glass, are you happy you had it? Does it not make the car look too black and unsymmetrical?

For those without it, should you have had it or would you have got it if it was available?

Took delivery of my very own Darth Vader Helmet today.

Had the run-in spiel from the dealer and then the new car "don't prang it on your first drive" apprehensions. Gingerly drove it back to work after picking it up at lunch.

Knocked off work at a reasonable hour and took the car up into the hills around Wien on a beautiful day, see some pics below.

As for the car itself, it was a bit like letting a Rottweiler lick your hand for the first time, not knowing if you'll keep all your digits or if you'll be mauled. So far it seems to like me, though I haven't flicked it in the love spuds with a wet tea-towel yet, as per running in instructions (ref. Supplementary Owner's Manual, page 22, under "Love Spuds").
