What 19\'s fit 118d M-Sport Coupe
Hi, i know there are so many posts on this but I'm still not sure...
I'm looking at the new 118d coupe facelift model and just cannot keep my mind off the new 1M Coupe wheels - gorgeous! I'd live to fit a set of 19's on and I'm not exactly sure about the terminology you guys have been using in previous threads. Would love something with a concave or dish at the rear like the new 1M but can't seem to find anything apart from these alloys on eBay (just search PRNK) but they seem like cheap copies. Can you suggest anything in that style of wheel with a concaved look on the rear? I've seen the post on the breyton gts wheels, love the grey and black - do these have a deeper concave on the rear? And on 18's as well? Also, what would it take to put 19's on my m-sport without doing anything to the car? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to the tech on wheels but would love a set of 19's!Thanks in advance. |

I was just gonna post on a similar topic, but part of my questions will answer the OP. sorry to thead jack, but I think this is related to your question.
I'm running 19" tires on VMR wheels and the fit is very good in front, and not so much for the rears. Issues are: 1) high speed bump will produce a minor rub - this is annoying, but toleerable 2) very agressive corning causes huge rub on outside rear wheel. I've seen pics of several members running 19"s that looked much lower than my setup and I'm at a loss as to how they are not running into this problem. What viable options and +/-s for each are available to minimize/cure this issue? fender rolling? sway bar? go back to 18"s? etc??? |
