.rar files, someone please help
Hey i want to download some software, I am not familiar with all this stuff, but it comes in a .rar form ,can someone give me a detailed approach of how ot use and instal iti and gt it out of this .rar.

Just download ALZIP from this site and install.
It will virtually unzip any form including .rar and It's FREE! here is the link http://www.altools.net/

go to www.rarlab.com and download the free software and install it.
Then download whatever it is you want and just double click on it. You can then extract all the files/folers in that file that you've just downloaded to your C:/ |

I recommend using 7zip which is an opensource software at no cost. All you need to do is to right click on the file after you download it and choose extract from the 7-zip menu.
There are dozens of other stuff you can use if you don't want this one for some reason. Good Luck! |

for once i really do meen this with no offense, but chances are if you dont know how to unpack a rar file, your going to have no idea what to do with the contents inside it either
/me waits a day for the .iso what do i do with this?

i figured out .iso, and as for .rar. I am learng, just getting exposed bud, gotta start somewhere..

.iso i think is a video file.
i recommend vlc because it usually has most of the recent codecs. search VLC player on google. as for the .rar, i'd try out a few programs and see which one is the best. occasionally some unzips/unrar's don't realize there are sometimes passwords associated with rar files and therefore you cant unrar/zip them. I use a Program called "extract now" fairly simple to use... and can locate divided rar files

iso ... a hispanic gang
iso is an image of a cd or dvd (so you have 1 file). rar is a compress folder which can be cut up into many pieces (so you can build it back to 1 file).
