Insalling JB4
Hi,,
I will get my new JB4 this Friday.. The installation process looks straight forward but i just want to see if there is anyone who is willing to help me just to double check that i am doing it correctly especially with ECU wiring. I live in Plantation and I can drive if you want to meet somewhere. Thanks again.

I am doing good how about you? long time since our last SFL meet in boca.
yeah i agree the install looks straight forward but still it is the fear of touching a $40K toy .. Also they added one step to JB4 compared to JB3 where you have to get an extra power line to feed the new board. (It is a green connector box that every1 is bitching how hard it is to get it unplugged even some people ended up breaking a small flap that cover the locking mechanism for the wires )

think when im ready for a tune, i will go w/ Cobb, just cause of how easy it is to revert back and forth |

I agree with the Cobb SW easiness but i was worried about crashing during the flash process where at that point there is nothing you can do .
I will give it a try this Saturday and i will see how it goes.

Installation complete.
It was easy and straight forward. It tool me an hour to from start to end. The ECU harness cabling was easier than i thought... NOW good bye to my 19.6 MPG ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

sick man, glad you're happy
MPG is one of the main reason I havent gotten a tune yet, 23mpg is way too nice to give up, specially coming from a boosted G35 that got 8mpg |

The jb4 didn't affect my mpg, then again I was averaging 16-17mpg stock in the city to begin with. Coming from a 13-15mpg E85 powered Evo, I don't mind though. ![]() |

I Agree with taking off the cowl and airbox was more annoying than the ECU harness.
