Have fun. I have been out there enough times in the last 4 months so I cant be bothered to go again for a while. It will probably be a good night though - nice and dry track and lack of cloud cover today will mean nice cool temps when the sun goes down. Will most likely be packed out though...school holidays and all.

Yeh - can only hope for the best in terms of turn out :S Not too fussed though as I'll go in early and hopefully get two or three runs in before it starts taking too long. I really have nothing new to test or try anyway.

I know its not a 1 series but posting anyway. 12.188 @ 115.45mph. The car runs faster NOT using launch control and NOT even brakestanding it a bit. This run was from idle rpm because launch control cancelled itself lol. I guess it was the cars way of saying it goes faster without it

I think if you have super grippie tires you dont have to used LC, as LCI believe there is some sort of braking assist to prevent a minimal wheel spin, because of that your 1/4 mile is slightly higher..

so that is my theory

I have exams in the days following the 1000 event

Also I doubt it is possible for me to go sub12s in a stock car. I can't be arsed to take out weight which is my only option apart from tuning.

WAIT WAIT sorry guys. I've been approaching this the wrong way. I need to explain myself the Edwin way.

I had a full interior and didn't get a chance to play with my 10million map settings and add nitro-hydro-super-turbo-metho-85 fuel with octane reducing boosting agent to assist with timing the car from limiting the bogging down in order to stop it from blowing up due to too much little grip. Once I get this sorted I will own you all."

Are you still going? Guess you would be there about now if you were. Will be interesting to see how those new tyres perform after the AD08s re: 60' times.

Had an ok night. The new tyres made a great difference but I guess I still need a bit more practice.

Pretty happy with the time, and still getting faster - on another run I trapped 114.79mph and 12.626 ET which is the fastest trap speed I have had. Other 4 runs were between 12.5 and 12.8.

Should go next week. There is a practice session for the andra nationals during the day so the track would be in good condition, if the weather is favourable.

r888 in 17". Would love to strip the ad08s off my 18"s and put these on them too but there is still too much tread left, so I will just use it up.
