Returning Run Flats
What is the acceptable condition of run-flats when you return a leased car? I have the stock run-flats on my 135 now, but i want to take the run flats off and put performance tires on. Just wondering how long i can use the run-flats to make sure they are in acceptable shape when i return the car. Thanks

You'll get a kit with a "what to expecct", along with an acceptable tire depth gauge, and a dent wizard. The packet will explain excessive damage costs..
BUT I've found that if you are re-upping to another car.. pretty much all is forgiven. I did not lease my 135i, but I've turned in tires with cord showing as I was picking up my next bimmer.. no penalty. Of course, YMMV, and I'm 9 BMWs deep in new car purchases. |
