Dan's photos showed that the rear springs are the same (as also indicated in your diagram), and your diagram shows that the front springs are also the same.
Other reports, however, have suggested that the 1M has different spring rates due to its lighter weight. Do we now believe that the differences are limited to different shocks and sway bars? Thanks. Neil |

OEM. From talking to BMW parts guys, springs obviously differ between, say, competition pkg or std suspension. They can also change based on the options you choose, i.e. premium stereo.

It has long been discussed that the more options the more spring rate the car needed so if you want high spring rates, pick a spring that has all the options ticked off next to it. The "M3" marked springs are from an M3, we just dont know which one ( or with which options, or lack there of )
