VADER is here............ - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

As most of you guys and girls no she's a week new now and she needs some air time being our second baby ///M car. It was a 4 hour plus drive to the dealer in the AW 1M to pick up the new BSM, we have appropriately named VADER.

Vader was driven back via Sydney to the Cars and Coffee meet (seen elsewhere) where she immediately felt at home with all of the other 1Ms.

Here are a few shots, some a bit artsy but anyway I hope you like them.

Mods todate are:
Black Grills
Black gills
Black ///M Badge
Blackline tail lights
Tint
Wheels in semi matt black
Jezzer's orange embossed mats
Black alloy pedals with //M engraving from GTB
Alcantara flat bottomed steering wheel with orange band (due this week from IND)

Planned, exhaust, tune, DRL, lowering springs.

It is pretty awesome walking into the garage and having two 1Ms sitting there together

feeling very privileged.

Delivery day, his and hers.

Wow, the name Darth Vader is definitely well fitted for such a mean awesomely looking machine.

Hiya, havent posted in Ages, but seeing as Q my pal has just bought a AW 1M i thought i'd sneek over from AudiOz.forums hehe. I have owned M3, etc etc in past. IMO, i love Q's Aw 1M, with the CSL style wheels, Im a big one for keeping the original style billions of euros were paid to designer to design for...like the csl wheels, they look magnificent on this car, no better wheel.
The black powder/and or shadowchrome look great as well but a close second on the white. As with my Phantom Black RS4, when i tried on a pair of gloss black rims...it was just too too much. and i feel IMO, the black 1M with black wheels is just too much.

If it were me and its not, i'd keep the csl's for the street and the powder coat for the pilot cup sports on the track.
But grate guys, the 1M is a fantastic car, i would love to have one, and am looking forward to a test drive in Quangs !!

Steve I would really love to mate but I will only have the car for 18 months, as per my usual run rate so stuff like this, as gorgeous as it is, is crazy for me.
