Problem With A/C-Help

Hey guys, just upgraded my audio system in my 2011 128i (thanks to Ken[VP Electricity] musicarnw) and am now having trouble with my a/c. I checked the connections behind the a/c unit and they are secure and in the right slots. When I turn on the A/C or heater, it makes a hissing noise and very little to no air is pushed out of the vents. Has anyone run into this problem? or can anyone possibly point me in a direction to come up with a solution? BTW One of ken's contacts in socal recommended finding someone with a scan tool to see if it is coding related, just not sure who could do that and is local to Pasadena.
Thanks in advanced.

I forgot to ask - have you checked the fuses in the fuse box?

I had the very same problem in my Z4, but it was not related to a radio install. The culprit turned out to be the climate control panel on the dash. It seemed the doors behind the dash that channel the air to the correct vents were not getting the correct commands from the controls. Since they were working in that area on the radio, it's quite possible that something is pinched or disconnected. I read that you checked that area already, but another closer check is probably a good idea.

Will do another check behind the headunit as I only looked behind the control for the A/C.

And just to clarify for any readers, it was a DIY install that I did with the system package I bought from ken, just didn't want anybody to think Ken installed the system and left me hanging w/o A/C
