thanks
![]() The cluster had to be sanded down and two new holes had to be drilled. that`s all. best thing is that the rpm indicator is retrofitted to the max rpm of the 130i now. so everythings works well with my engine.

I just tried to explain that the rpm band is retrofitted to work with the max rpm of my 130i.
so the rpm band gets to 7500k when the oil reaches 100C. the rest (7500-9000rpm) is red then. Last edited by AnooooOH; 06-19-2011 at 03:25 PM. |

Wow, I am very interested in doing this mod and glad someone was brave enough to try!
Can I request that you snap a picture from outside the car looking in, preferably with the door open so we can view it from outside the car in and then if you can, maybe a video of the gauges when you press the start button to see the lights come on. Does the tach redline LEDs gradually turn off as the engine warms up?

![]() yes it does that on its own. even the e46 m3 had this in another form. Quote:
![]() there are some videos of the start on youtube. and yes they gradually turn off. Thank you ![]() But they need some spacers to reach a nice stance ![]() Thx ![]() Quote:
YOu just need someone the code the gauge. the rest is very simple. you see where the gauge is mounted and you see where you have to sand down something. then you dril two new holes and reinstall it. here are some more: ![]() ![]() ![]()
