M Power Driving Experience - Goodwood Race Circuit
M Power Driving experience at Goodwood race circuit & Goodwood Festival of Speed.
From 1M Coupes to an X6M, with ex Le Mans / F1 driver and presenter of Fifth Gear Tiff Needell thrown in for that extra fun. This was our introduction to the most powerful letter in the world and all the more better for it than at one of the most historic race circuits in the UK that remains the same today as it did back when it ended Sir Stirling Moss's international racing career........ A VIP invite from BMW to experience the M range on circuit with one to one driver tuition, fine hospitality, sideways action in a M3 with Tiff and entry to the Goodwood Festival Of Speed, this sure has made our initial experience to the BMW mark one to remember and a very good start for things to come when our 1M Coupe arrives. Thanks Parklane BMW for a thoroughly good first experience of the entire M Power range......... We now very much look forward to taking delivery of our 1M in months to come. Starting with an nice breakfast and glorious sunshine, not the norm...................the weather that is! Last edited by Aussie_in_London; 07-11-2011 at 03:59 PM.. |

was a great intro to BMW and the M world for us having done many years of events and organising with VXR within BTCC and other associated motorsport events, it was a great day and the weather was spot on, surprising really lol |

Tiff spent his time giving you a guided tour of the circuit, having a chat and getting the M3 sideways at every opportunity lol now if he had a helmet on you would miss out on the chit chat and which legend F1 driver had crash here and there lol
Was a good laugh..... |

Thanks for posting! Looks like you had an incredible time. Which car did you prefer?
The 1M looks right at home on the track I really love the metallic red M3!

All the M3's and Z4 were DCT equiped (pansy shift) which we both find take the fun out of driving and boring (that is our opinion) so the real winner was the 1M being MT to begin with lol both rapid cars that go about their duties in different ways.......... |

The X6M did make me giggle though - stupidly loud, stupidly fast - and stupidly wobbly under hard breaking!

Cool pics! I think this is the first time we have seen all THREE 1M colors together in one photo!
I bet driving with Tiff was a blast! Did he do any of his famous 720 degree spins at 100+ mph in a straight line! |
