yes it was haha, how come it takes 4 weeks for you? just because you are on the west coast?

I was told it would be around 10-14 days to get here from Germany and im right in CT so very close to the port

Congrats. I ordered mine on 9/18 and mine is finally in production as well. Here's what I got:

its roughly 23-28 days from bremerhaven to port hunueme or whatever that thing is called, all depending on weather and when the car gets on a boat, and then when us customs "looks" at it. hopefully when november ends it will be on the dealer lot waiting for me

hopefully it takes less than that to get on the east coast, in the tracking/ship guide the guy said it only took his 11 days to get to nyc. hoping thats me as well

just called the automated system, said production expected to be completed on November 11th which is a bit strange since that would make it 10 days but either way it still looks like ill be on track for the 28th-30th for delivery

at least you know whats goin on with your car! mine is currently on a boat as of 11/7 but that boat has like 2-3 more ports of call before it heads to California. Each port is about a day or so delay from my car getting here. THE AGONY is starting to settle in.

Well, good thing I don't need to rely on my CA anymore since he is not good at communication at all...but I just called BMW NA and they said that it has finished production and is going through the final quality check now. Hopefully I get on a ship early next week!

FINALLY.

Took delivery this morning at 10am. Nonstop driving and admiring my baby I absolutely love it.
