BimmerWorld + Motons = >1M
The car is on the lift at BimmerWorld with Moton Double Adjustables going on right now. After installation I'm driving over a mountain for 2 hours to race a 24 hour enduro at VIR. The kit looks beautiful and the shop and team are top notch. I'll post a review tonight.

Looking forward to your review. What spring rates are you looking at and will BW be installing camber plates? Am also interested in alignment specs. Thanks and have fun at VIR. Make sure you beat my buddy Eric Wong (aka Wonger)! Neil |

Mr. Wong (wrong) is going down if he gets near me! I've known Eric since 08. I'll have to send you a funny pic of him. We are going to skip the camber plates for now and see how it aligns. Since I've decided to keep the 1M track time limited (because race car) I don't see the need. We are going to play around with some different spring rates but may start off with the ones in the M3 box for now.

Definitely well worth it then. I kind of went with more budget items on my E46 M3. Now that I have decided that the E46 M3 is a keeper for me, I wish I went with the higher end products and call it a day.
I am contemplating getting new coilovers for the E46 as well. Debating between Moton SS D/A, JRZ RS, or KW Competitions. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing what you have to say about the Street Sports!

"wow you are going to miss their grand opening by a couple days..."
They are setting up for it now. If I could be in 2 places at once.... Randy is doing tunes at open house so if you come down make sure you leave with it.

Dan,
Interested in seeing what your opinion is of these. I am looking into getting double adjustables for my IP car and was looking at the Moton's and the 4200's. Just curious if the Moton's are more of a "street" type shock than race. -Howard |

Getting ready to leave soon. The car is still settling a little in these pics but you get the idea. We are sorting out spacers and then I'm out.
The wheel....the temptation...

That is the wheel, in black. The fluorescent lighting must have caused the blue hue in the pic. I've got to get checked in @ VIR and help unload a car so I'll post back my impressions tonight.
I'm really glad I had BimmerWorld install this kit. Attention to detail is huge!

-1.7 F & -1.0 R. The ride is nice. Moton recommends leaving the rebound and compression on 3 for the first bit and I could have stopped and adjusted things but didn't since I had to get to the track quickly. I drove over all sorts of different surfaces between BimmerWorld and VIR and it handled it fine. For 6-7 miles I drove some very twisty mountain roads and it felt very planted. I have a lot of luggage and racing gear in the car so I wasn't pushing it really hard but it felt perfect to me. While it was in the air I had them install the CDV and that was a noticeable improvement. We put some 12 mm spacers on the front but when the wheels were turned they touched the fender liner near the oil coolers. Switching to 5 mm stopped this so I used those. I had no rubbing in the 2.5 hours of driving afterwards so I'll probably leave it as is. When I get a chance to drive the car a little harder I'll post my impressions.

Looks great! I'm glad to hear that the ride is pretty reasonable on the street thus far!
I'll try to contact James this week regarding a setup for my E46 M3. I can't wait to hear more driving impressions.
