Ohlins for 1MC - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I was wondering if anyone knows if Ohlins makes a suspension kit for the 1M or not? I use Ohlins for my track motorcycles and I'm a huge fan of the product (I have Ohlins front/rears installed before I ever put them on the track).

I was ready to put them on my STi before I thought...eh...maybe I'll just get a new car instead. Glad I considered/ordered the 1M. I can't wait to get my hands on the car, especially after reading all the rave reviews from you guys on this board. But I want to make it a strong DD/Weekend Track car, and I would like to price out some suspension setups and cover the pros and cons for each. Thanks for the help/advice guys.

I know theyre available for the 135.

Check with Harold at HPA for info

Are Ohlins and Motons the same thing? Im kinda clueless about this stuff.

For anyone interested. I just got off the phone with Ohlins USA. NO, they do NOT currently make the Ohlins suspension for the 1MC. They may at some point in the future though. I will work with Ohlins on getting this installed, and report back at some point. I'm looking at a custom TTX installation, but may decide on something that will allow for easier adjustment...just depends.
