255 rear upgrade?

Will 255 tires fit on the rear without spacers on a 135i?

Yes.
A very common upsize used by 135i owners is 255/35R18 in the back, and 225/40R18 in the front.

Garage List
Go for it, they fit fine, and your speedometer / odometer will be a smidgen more accurrate than it currently is on the oem sized tires.

The OEM Style 264 wheels are 18x7.5" and 18x8.5", which would be very narrow to use a 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 tire on. While you can have the tires mounted on, the sidewalls will be ballooned out due to the oversized tire, and would not be the ideal tire size.

I did the upsize on stock wheels. There is some fender rubbing when driving over some dips.
