Go down to the suspension & brakes section and the track sections and you'll see there are big issues with our brakes for track use in that the rotors are too thin and there's not enough cooling. Bunches of threads on that stuff.

1M front bumper has bigger brake cooling ducts built-in, so that minimises any potential issues.

Minien: You definitely deserve magazine expsoure and some better international acknowledgement for this conversion. I think if you were to get one of your photography friends to make a small yet nice video on the car and upload it onto youtube, you'll have more people talking about this "E87 1M"

ps: I lie, it's only me that wants to see a video haha

Another good reason for this is because this has allready be done,

and both are in norway.

I was about to say that car would be the perfect pocket powerhouse. But then I got to thinking about weight distribution, I wonder how that big heavy V8 would effect handling. Im surprised the rear wheels don't pop off the ground, lol.

Understeer? dude with that V8 under the hood and those rear tires constantly spinning we're talking oversteer central!

Record a Top Gear quality video and sell it on iTunes. I'd buy that for a dollar.
