Congratulations you guys! I'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief once my 135 gets on a boat!

It was completed on 10/1 and arrived at the port on 10/6. Hopefully there's a good chance it gets on a boat to NY soon - maybe even 10/12 if I've read the schedules correctly!

Florida Highway just left Bremerhaven on Oct 7th. Maybe thats the one you are on. It arrives in Brunswick on 10/19.

The 1-800 number updated my status to "at port of exit awaiting a vessel". So I suspect I missed out on Asian Vision.

Congrats to those who made it on Asian Vision. Hopefully I will get on a ship within the next 10 days.

FWIW the 800# still tells me the car is at the port awaiting a vessel. No info available on the WW site or BMW's website. Not trying to get your hopes up ... Just want to make sure you have all the info.

Just called the 800# and my 1M is now "in transit." Still waiting for confirmation from CA, but I'm assuming it's on Asian Vision since it's the only schedule that makes sense for the West coast.

My production was complete 9/28... Herr Fstir was your production complete before that? If so, I bet you're on Asian Vision too.

Okay, I received the below reply from my CA earlier when I inquired about my shipping status. Isn't she wonderful!!! If your CA tells you he cannot retrieve this level fidelity, tell him/her to "QUIT BEING A BITCH and DO YOUR JOB".

Yes I did but was delivering a car to Auburn this morning.

Looks like your car got to the port and was loaded on 10/07. Actual departure from what it says was 10/10 (yesterday). Estimated arrival as of right now is 10/20 BUT since the ship did not leave on the 7th as planned it will most likely get here a few days later (depending on weather etc etc)
Name of the vessel is Florida Highway and it departed Bremerhaven going to Charleston. Then Norfolk Southern will transport the car to the VPC.

I'm sending your posters today to IL.

Next step will be the paperwork which will have to be in Spartanburg 1 week to 10 days before your actual delivery.

Are you guys pressing your CAs for info. If you see my post above, CAs have access to pretty detailed shipping info. Way more than you'll ever find thru the 1800.

Haven't heard anything from my CA. Usually they are quick to pass along good news, so I'm thinking no dice on Asian Vision.

The next WW ships leaving for the west coast are Aida and Undine in 8-10 days. Maybe there will be a NYK ship leaving before then...

CA confirmed my 1M is on Asian Vision, and yes like Mike said they have all kinds of detailed shipping information (which you can also get at the shipping tracking sites).

Great news! Bit confused however since our cars seemed to finish production simultaneously - wonder why it seems I didn't make it onto Asian Vision? Hopefully I won't be too far behind.

After much searching I discovered that Altair Leader (NYK Line) left Bremerhaven today and is due in Port Hueneme 11/9.

Still haven't determined if my car has been loaded on a ship yet, but I am hopeful it got on Altair Leader.

Herr- I'm thinking you've got to put an end to the torture of not knowing and get an answer out of your CA, immediately. If they're completely inept then maybe we can find another BMW CA to look up the info. Because this is madness. I'm sure you saw mikewillis' post for an example of what info the CA has access to.

Yeah it's torture. But at least I've got something to occupy my time until the car gets here.

I can't tell whether my CA is misinterpreting the BMW tracking system. It would be awesome if anybody has a CA willing to check things out on their system.
