Would these be a good fit on a 128i?

VMR VB3
F 18x8.5 +22
R 18x9.5 +32

Some very simple searching would have told you that the answer is no.

I think you have your offsets a bit mixed up. Most likely you were referring to a 8.5 +40 front and a 9.5 +22 rear. Unfortunately this fitment would not work on a 1-Series and would be too aggressive. You'll want to run a 9.5 +45 rear as the most aggressive.
