That is a question that can open a whole can of worms......

I think everyone will always haev their opinions based on ALOT....and I do mean alot of data and information that is available everywhere. Most people I think choose the route they go on based on that.

I'm a JB4 user and the only bolt on I don't have is an IC. At the same time I also look at other options out there that can give me the most efficient results based on what I want to get out of my car. I'm not a 1/4 mile guy but spend most of my time on a circuit track. So far with the things the JB4 can do for me I am very satisfied with the performance I have gotten. Cobb has been on my radar since it came out and continue to see how they come along in the N54 scene as I see it as another viable option if i wish to go away from the JB4

Well, in one of Terrys dynos for the JB4 it states stock at 273 hp but on another stock dyno it shows 291 hp ...Conditions change often, we must consider these things... Dynojet are considered the bench mark...

Somebody forgot the Vishnu tune... Also, the N55's are rated at 306 hp crank vs 300 for the N54 and 295 tq N55 vs 300 tq for the N54... I ran many DCI and exhaust modded N54 cars with my stock N55 and put two cars on them from 0-85 mph... Consistently...

My only experince with Cobb was for my 04 STI and I am new to tuning the E82, so I went with the JB4 in the last 2 days I have been driving it after the install I am impressed maybe because the E82 is a much more well designed vehicle than the 04 STI.
