I bleed Scarlet and Gray!!
|
I have now been driving on these tires for about 3 months and thought I would share my thoughts. First and foremost, I am running 235/35/18 (front) and 255/35/18 (rear), JIC CROSS coilovers, and BMS spacers (10mm and 12mm), with significant negative camber (-2 degrees up front and -2.25 degrees in the rear) and experience no rubbing. And the car is slammed. Actually gonna go lower in the front, but I regress. Back to the tires. Seriously, the only complaint I have about these tires is how slippery they are when they are cold. Once they warm up though, for a street tire, they are rather triply. The other thing I have noticed (compared to the OEM RFT) is how quiet they are. The tread pattern is aggressive (and semi-cool looking), so they will make the wander to the contour and imperfections of the road if you take your hand off the steering wheel, but overall, for the cost, they are great. I got them mounted and balanced (including the price of all four tires) for under $800. Just thought I would share this feedback w/the 1 Addicts community.

They're a pretty good tire for the money I'd say. They're inexpensive and readily available.
You're right about the tramlining though. I've also heard that they do this from time to time.

At first, I thought my alignment was effed up. And had it redone only to have thesame issue again. I have NEVER had tires pull like these do. And I have had extreme performance NITTO, BFG, and other Falkens on my other cars w/o this little problem. But it is what it is. Still great tires though.
