My car has new shoes :)
Hi guys,
I've made some minor changes to my car since I last posted pics of it. Thanks to Jason@Eurodivision, it's now sporting some GT-CX in Matte Anthracite with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I also stumbled across some very competitively priced local parts from an authorised dealer, Mornington BMW in VIC. Sean Bell in the parts department gave me very competitive pricing for a few bits and pieces, including new-style chrome BMW centrecaps, my Performance Grilles and a Performance Spoiler which I've yet to fit. I ordered the parts yesterday and they arrived in less than 24 hours! I can't recommend him highly enough! Let's just say the parts were nearly on par or actually slightly cheaper than the US. Anyway, I just managed to get the car washed quickly and shoot some late afternoon pics in poor light so I'm sorry about the mediocre quality I'll post some better pics soon! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by ippykaye; 10-19-2011 at 03:23 AM. |

I'm glad actually. Slightly lighter than black so it shows off the spokes/shape a bit better. The newer centrecap came out in late 2009 I think, which has a chrome ring around the badge and is slightly convex. We've got 2008 cars which came with centrecaps that have a plastic ring (mine had faded and were yellowing) and was a flat shape. My E46 from 2001 had this design so I was a bit disappointed they still had them in 2008. These look much sharper IMHO Can't go wrong for $13 each! ![]() |

Looks good!
You'll love those PSS's, best tyres I have had. So those wheels are re-branded VMR710's? I have VMR710's in HyperSilver. What did you pay all up?

Noice. I'm thinking something like those when I get bored with my 313s...

Thanks for the compliments guys
No spacers Paul, just stock offsets. Fronts are 18x8.5 ET45. 225/40/18 Rears are 18.9.5 ET50. 255/35/18 Not lowered although I find my car seems to sit slightly lower than a few others random 135s I've parked next to in shopping centres etc. By lower I mean by a few mm. No scrubbing at all, but I haven't actually given it the full beans around a corner. Still waiting for the tyres to rough up a bit. I had a full-ish load (4x stock 261s with runcraps, a case of beer and wine and Autobarn purchases) when I drove home from the tyre-shop and it didn't rub on speed humps. The rust on the rear hubs is really obvious now....know anyone who can do it for me? ![]() Quote:
Jason sells them for $999 + shipping ($75 to NSW). Tyres cost me just over $1200 landed from Tirerack. I hope to take advantage of Jason's $25 rebate on hi-res photos ![]() Quote:
