Broke a little clip - assistance finding the part #?

Hi,

I broke a stupid little clip, and I'm not interested in glue! Can anyone assist with the part number, ? Better yet if I could get directions on how i could possibility find things like this in the future it would be great!

btw, make sure you plug that back in. I forgot to one time and realised my brakes were gone..

either 18 13 or 11, not sure which

Yeah it wasn't fun! I knew something was up because the blow off valve wasn't sounding properly. Lucky there was nobody at the roundabout when I got there

This is where it pays off to "build a relationship" at your local BMW dealer. You know who are the smart (go to)guys are - at the dealership. Often times you find hard parts to look up like these clips.

13 is the bracket and the clip together, 11 is just the clip that's broken. It's best to secure it as well as possible. You don't want it vibrating on anything causing an eventual leak in the line. Loss of power brake assist is never good.
