Looks really good Zuzu, really good.

Can't see properly on my phone, is it a gloss or matte finish? Do you know what the couloir code they used was? Been thinking of getting this done for a while now. The wheels are off at the moment for the track so very very tempted!

Don't scratch them, get a grey texta and keep it in the g'box, that's the only down side to painted/powder coated wheels, any mark will show up like dogs ba11s. (experience talking here )

Thanks... it is a metalic gloss finish.
Paint used was GLASURIT HIGH-SOLID 2K-NFZ DECKLACK SERIE 18 B, 900 Schwarz, I think.. Have it at home, and can get for you.

A sealant is actually better as wax will heat up and cause dust to stick to it IMO...there are some sealants that last for months. I had Opti-Coat on my last wheels which was permanent and made cleaning easy.

Have you had the mid-pipes installed today?

Mid Pipes have arrived at dealership, but won't be delivered until tomorrow..
Have contacted Peter @ Advan to have them installed Saturday morning.

Side markers and tail pipes will be black nickel finish.
Like the grill as is.

Ian, a good quality wax is fine for wheels. Joe has also used wax on his previous wheels (135i) and had fantastic results. Alternatively, you can use a quality sealant, but you will get similar results.

Given that the car is washed weekly, he should be fine washing the wheels with a warm water/pH neutral car wash combination. Just remember to use another MF mitt for your wheels

Remember, the key to clean wheels is to wash them weekly.

True, sealant lasts longer than wax I think, I don’t have an issue with brake dust as car is washed often....P21S wheel gel cleaner works well for me.... after a few years though you need to get the wheels off and properly cleaned

Joe, which ones did you get? Are they the same as Ian's?
