Radiator Fan Removal DIY Request

I was showing my 2012 135 to my brothers this weekend and they noticed that the radiator fan might be making some ticking noises when the AC is on (only when the fan is blowing super hard).

It was a really hot day, 95+ and the fan was winding up pretty hard with the AC on, when it was blowing hard it we heard the noise (sounded like it was coming from the fan). As soon as I turned AC off the fan slowed down considerably and the sound went away. I'm wondering if the fun is starting to wobble a bit when it's winding hard.

Anyway, is there some DIY out there on removing the radiator fan? I'd like to take it out and see if there is some looseness in the cowling.

So I found something in the Accessory Belt DIY on removing the fan, do I definitely need to jack up the car and remove the belly pan to get this thing out?

Everything is done from above. The only reason you may need to get under the car is to unbolt the oil cooler from the fan shroud.
EDIT: Nevermind, you have an N52. Pull that sucker right out the top.

The fan comes out from the top of the engine bay. You'll likely need to jack up the front end and remove the undertray to reach the bottom fasteners holding the fan assembly onto the rad.
