North Florida crew? - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I see about a dozen of 335s daily, but have only seen two 135s since we picked up ours last month. Tonight I was passed by a clean 135 going south on i95 leaving Jacksonville with the plates 'V8 Killer' (or something to that effect).

Do we have any north Florida peeps on here?

I live in Palm Coast (Marineland) and work in downtown St. Augustine...2013 Silver/Coral Red 135i Convertible.

Any recommended local shops?

I'm about a 1.5 hour drive from Jax up in Valdosta Ga.

Bob it depends on what you are looking for. Stage 6 does a ton of custom work, Mase engineering has developed a tune and they can install most anything you need plus they have a dyno but the guy said it reads low. Mase also tunes some of the cars running in the Rolex 24. Other than that I don't know of any other BMW shops in the area. If you get any performance parts and need help installing them I'll give you a hand. I'm in the fruit cove area.

JK did you pick your car up in Brunswick? I got mine awhile back a could have sworn yours was about two rows away. Didn't think you were going stateside.

I picked it up Dec 26th but I think it had been sitting there for two weeks.

Yeah I got mine on the 26th also. Damn must have been right in front of you. Mine had been there for about 6 weeks. When I asked the people in Balt. they told me 8-10 weeks so I shipped it early. It took two washing's to get the grit off.

Yeah no one had a clue in Baltimore about getting the p/w to me to get my car. I picked my car up on the 27th not 26th I wrote the wrong date before.

Yeah still FBO + meth. Changed out the rear section for the rouge engineering one. It's tasty.

I don't know about anything on Merrill but I'm pretty sure the down to race guys are doing something tonight. I'm the only BMW that runs with them. You're welcome to join.
