Anyone in the NW Suburbs ever use these guys for work on your BMW? Just received a flyer in the mail and thought it they might be a good resource for any major work in the future.

They are formerly of Lake Bluff and moved to Libertyville.

All my major work will get done at A&L and VS. No need to go anywhere else...

VS Motorsports, They will do my suspension when the time comes.

I got that flier from the Werk Shop. Haven't used them yet until I hear some news about them. Do you know if it is Fred Brown? I use to take my 728 to Fred in North Chicago. He was a long time master mechanic with Knauz and went out on his own. I have lost track of him.

Who is A&L? I have a 328xi that will some attention sometime down the road and don't want to take it to the dealer (Knauz). Thanks.

I've spoken to Mike Marijanovic @ The Werk Shop, but I have not had any work done yet.

A&L Auto Body in Palatine. They can do body work, bolt-ons, wheels, & alignments...maybe more.

Fred's still out on his own. I can get his contact info if you want. PM me as I am not normally on 1 forum unless bored.

I've never used him but my friend does all the time. My conversations with him ended when I was asking him about installing a rear diff and he said, why would you do that. /anypossibilityofmyusinghim
