Hey,

http://www.autodvdgps.com/bmw-1-seri...er-p-1593.html (also available for cars with automatic airconditioner).

does somebody in this board use this solution and can share experiences and/or mounted pictures?

Sebastian - I have not seen this for a e82. I did see a 1M at Essen Motor Show with something simular. Here are a few pics...

here is their website...

Hey DackelOne,

i think this is only a 2DIN Bezel where you can install any 2DIN Radio. But looks not bad on the first look, maybe a solution for my car

Thanks,
Sebastian

Yes, with a CAN BUS Adapter that support this feature.

If you have automatic AC this is what you need:

http://www.cars-electronics.com/bmw-...dio_p1398.html

Looks like you will have to relocate the AC unit which is included in this assembly. It uses CAN BUS but I'm a little concerned with the other functions such as bluetooth and ipod integration. I called and the gal working verified with her tech that model 8820 works with the e82. For me in the US, DVB-T won't work since its not our standard. Also, not familiar with or how the GPS software works. Wondering if you have to install the GPS software yourself and load your own maps...
