Cashmere Silver Metallic?

I am wondering what people think of this color? I can't seem to find that many pictures of it. To me it looks a little like champagne, or gold or something. Please post any pictures that you have of a 1 series in cashmere silver metallic! thanks

Great color - especially with the Coral Red leather.

Just had a loaner in CSM. It looked much better than I thought it would. But still not my preference.

Go with the regular silver car with tinted windows. This is what I have and it looks awesome.

Cashmere silver is more of a champagne color...kind of a metallic tan/gold. I didn't really care for it.

It looks waaaaay better in person; check out Mr. Clarkson's ride. I think it only works with black wheels though. It needs that contrast to pop (yes "pop" deal with it).

Had a 2008 328i in this color. My BMW dealer was always calling it silver or tan. Metallic Champagne was the correct color in my book.

Amazing color

As some have said, this color looks much better in person than via pic or color chip. I just got a used 128 in cashmere silver. I never would have picked that color, but when buying used you can't always get everything you want. After having it a while, I find the color is one of the things I like best about the car. It is easy to keep clean and accentuates the cars lines nicely. It has a certain subtle elegance to it and a little more interest than my other plain silver or gray vehicles.

I ordered my 2011 in CSM and terra leather. It looked even more impressive when I picked it up! Lots of nice compliments.

Agreed, I have black powercoated stock wheels and they look really good on the car. I'll see if I can find some pics to throw on here.

pic 1 is from a german/american meet
pic 2,3,4 just after I used a clay bar
last pic is me on Nurburgring.
The only thing not shown in these pics is the perf spoiler that I installed. Hope that helps your decision.

Definitely a great color...one of my favorites, next to VO . When we do the German/American 1series meets, JK's car ^^^ is the only one like this and black rims really accentuate the color.

Thats true I usually am the only CSM at the meets not to mention the only one with obnoxiously loud exhaust.

Along with Sigmajam, I wouldn't have picked this color either but I bought mine prebuilt (demonstrator) and the color has really grown on me since. Black really does convert it from classy to sporty, but as an option to the black powder coat rims, I really liked these.

Exactly its a color that will grow on you, at night or on cloudy days it kinda looks champagne and in direct sunlight you definitely see a lot more of the silver color.

Agreed. I'll get some pics of mine for you. It's one of the few colors that changes its hue in different lighting. I find it absolutely stunning. Clarkson IMO has the nicest car on these forums (but I'm 100% biased as I fell head over heels for the color). It's a very classy color, and with black accents really looks sporty.
