-Factory diverter valve sound baffle, which causes turbulence in the factory pipe, is removed.
-Optional Type III Hard Black Anodizing (for stealth and OEM look). Hard anodizing helps improve durability of intercooler piping. Resists bent or dented piping.

Noob question.. does fitting this require any form of engine tuning/calibration ? or is it a (remove old peice and fit in new peice and your done) ?

Should I still consider this if I opt for the ETS direct fit 1M FMIC? That FMIC kit includes charge pipe as well but never heard any comments from anyone on how it works.

The FMIC comes with a new discharge pipe as part of the kit, which replaced the OEM plastic one, but it is not the same as the charge pipe.

The ER charge pipe will still replaces the flimsy oem piece and make the car more reliable.
