The Ace Cafe has a great selection of food with a large dining area. The car park is reserved totally for our cars up until 4:00. Unless your car's registration is on the list the marshalls wont let your car in, so total relaxation about your car while its there. We usually have a quiz, raffle and a prize for the best cars and generally chat and get to know other members and their cars. Here is a link to the Ace Cafe website. If there's a pre-meet at South Mimms what's the post code (for the Nav) cos I might tag along from there.
Was looking forward to a drive down with Denso but he's just told me he has work commitments in the States.

South Mimms Services is EN6 3QQ. On the A1M/M25 junction. Situated behind the BP garage is a massive car parking area.
Clive and I will both be travelling down the A1M from North Herts and arriving there at 9:30 am. If anyone else wishes to join up there for a pre meet to then convoy down to the Ace Cafe please let me know.
Over the next few days leading up to 23rd June, I'll be adding more information about the day.

We will be running a competition for the Best VO, Best AW, Best BSM and the overall Best 1M of the day. Judging will be carried out by Lee Proctor. He is regarded as one of the top builders of custom and modded vehicles in the UK and his car centre CCC has already carried out work for many 1M owners. Trophies will be awarded to the best presented 1Ms be it standard or modded. So you've now got a month to get these lovely 1Ms looking better than new.

This meet is going to be a push to make for me, I have a wedding to attend at 2pm in Canterbury so if anything I will be able to do a quick in and out decked out in our 9's......

I'm going to visit Dr Lee for a bit of chip and scratch repair so I reckon I should definitely win Best In Class. After all my VO is still pure bred (stock) unsullied by any mods!
Any ideas as to anything interesting to do in Hitchin for three hours on a Friday morning ?

Great little market town with great coffee shops and restaurants. If I'm about you are more than welcome to pop round to our house for a bite to eat and drink. Which Friday are you coming up?
