clutch arm bushings

Has anyone installed UUC clutch arm bushings on a 128i? I installed them on a previous Z4 and really liked them so I just got a set for the 128i as the clutch pedal really has a lot of lateral travel. The instructions UUC sends are rather generic and not 128i specific. I searched but did not find a DIY thread for this. anyone done it? Anything 128i specific I should know? Thanks in advance.

should be like the e90, maybe they have DIY for a clutch stop that will show you how to get to the area( ie what panels to remove)

I'm suprised that no one has used these bushings yet. My concern is more about disconnecting the electrical that is attached to the inside of the panel than actually changing the bushings as I have all ready done this once. Any thoughts?

well I doubt Z4 has an assembly that is very different.
I would consult RealOEM for parts and see where the clutch pedal assembly in 128i is also found.

128i: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...91&hg=35&fg=05

same clutch pedal part #: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref....eur=&details=1
Seems e90 is the best match. Maybe they have it on their forum as a DIY..

I would love to see the DIY since I did consider the Derlin bushings 2 month ago. Also I don't know how many you need, 1 or 2 of the bushings

The Z4 only had a light which easily unpluged. I looked at the 128i and it has several bits of electrical attached on the inside held in with what appear to be one way clips. The pedal assembly is much the same as the Z4. If anyone has taken one of these apart, any suggestions would be great.
The bushings come in a set of two. The improvement on the Z4 was well worth it. As the 128 has a lot of lateral play, they cna only help here as well.
