DIY: Replace Xenon D1S Bulb (Video)

Hello everyone!


I'm new to the forums, I had an S2000 before the 1er.


I love my 1er!





I purchased new 6000k bulbs and was curious how to remove the bulb I turned to the manual and that was no help, it gives instructions for every other bulb but not the low beam. Then I turned online, that is when I noticed there wasn't a video for replacing our cars low beam D1S bulb, so I figured I'd jump on the opportunity.


It is my first DIY video, bare with the amateur quality but non the less good information to have.


Tips:

-Wait till the car is cool so you don't burn yourself

-Handle the bulbs with care

-Do NOT pull on the metal teeth that surround the bulb

-Be gentle when removing and installing the bulb, you do not want to damage your adaptive headlight motor.

I saw phillips one for $90 from ebay. Did u buy that or something else?
