ZZZ 1M Mods ongoing - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

So Took delivery on my VO 1M this week and started the mods. In this thread I hope to keep a list of all the mods and a reference for others.

Mods:
- Cobb AP S1
- MadDad Mid Pipes
- Remus US Street Race muffler
- ETS 5" FMIC
- ER Charge Pipe
- BMS Oil Catch Can
- P3 V2.1 Boost Gauge
- LUX V3 AE's
- White LED interior bulb kit
- BMW Performance Pedals
- CDV delete
- IND Black Grilles and side markers

Mods removed:
- 3M Venture Shield Stone Guard (full bonnet, bumper, mirrors, half fenders)
- EvolveR tune

Entire car protected with "Nanolex"

How's the stone guard? My bonnet is starting to look bad, want to clear bra it or similar

Having issues with stoneguard with bubbles and lifting, not a good job done by installer... taking it back for them to do it properly!

It is almost invisible, but believe that can look yellow after a few years on white cars, but has lifetime warranty on 3M VentureShield, so you should be ok.

Need you to perhaps do some coding as you did with Joe's 1M

Sure, but not sure it captures their true sound and I'd need a cameraman. They are LOUD! I think that the N55's are a more conservative option, but I like these MadDad's a lot, my neighbors do not

Hey did I understand you correctly on Sat morn - you can put oem N55 mid pipes on my N54 135i vert and get a deep increase in sound and a slight increase in power ?
Btw to return the favour from when you helped with the Lux, i have vid equipment and can do video for you when you want to share your 1M mods.

Yes, Joe put his 1M on the dyno on Saturday with N55 mids and made significant power gains. I would suggest N55 pipes on your vert, as the MadDad's may be too loud with the top down. Also, N55's mids are cheaper and can be bought from BMW AU.

It happens sometimes mate. I went with a stupidly expensive mob for 3m tinting and took it back, every window was hopeless.

now it looks flawless.

protecting the 1 series seems to be a must, when I was buying, almost all had damage to the bonnet. mine may be too bad to even bother now
