There are still units left

I'll hold for 24h, as there are still orders coming through website.
If all holds convert to an order I might be close to sold out.

I think that you need DP's for the S2. Evolve do have custom tunes for various mods... sure that there is one for just an FMIC.

Did an error read after drive last night and zero errors. Drive to work today and the car is definitely adapting after 30km's now. Just way more eager to accelerate ... I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS MONTHS AGO!
Good to hear you're enjoying the tune Ian!
From reviews I've read, everyone consistently seems to say "should've done this ages ago". It's all about how the car feels to drive not so much the figures. Can't wait to do mine too! Ive booked 2K service in 3wks so straight after that.

Stage 1 - tune
Stage 2 - FMIC, Exhaust, & tune
Stage 3 - stage 2 + DPs

I'm hoping to get to Advan by 10:30am...see u guys there!

Evolve, not ESS

Agree, you guys should have perhaps held off for Peter to dyno mine on Saturday. I would still like to see Cobb results. That said this Evolve tune is more focused on driveability than power.

Peter - take mine for a drive also and let me know what you think.

AND you also have no idea how it compares to ESS....

I appreciate ESS dev may have stopped but I think that will be the case for all as 1M prod is now dead and gone... focus must go to the N55 in the F20's and 30"s.

I know that my (well Mrs Alpine's) ESS was "specific" to the config in the car at the time, including the Akra. Not sure if that assists or not.

All true, but Evolve has gotten great reviews on the forum. It is a safe bet, esp if you want to mod further and go down the path of FMIC & DP's

Missed a bit of discussion here but 17.75psi for Stage 2 and supporting mods sounds about right, if it's Stage 1 it seems a bit on the high side?

Mind you P3 might be reading a little high, perhaps see what the 'true' boost is when the car is on the dyno.

P3 has boost tap line. Was spot on at 14.5psi for stock

Oh ok if using the boost tap line it's more accurate than OBDII reading only.

17.75 psi would be in the mid range right and it tapers off up the top?
Is that Stage 1 or Stage 2?

My tune is definitely a S1. I was just hitting the P3 recall ... mostly around 16.5psi on pulls. 2 pulls where I went hard in 1st gear recorded high 17's. I'm no expert in this area

Is 17 too high for non-meth application?

17psi may be a little much unless you can up the octane then it's fine. The COBB maps are quite boost heavy also. Yesterday I loaded a Stg 2 +FMIC Agressive map and it was peaking at 19.5psi tapered to 15psi no meth. Far too much IMO. The only way to really know if your car is running safe is to log some parameters such as boost, ignition and AFR's mind you there is much more to it. I'm just finishing up my own custom COBB map and I have to say ATR is quite impressive.

17 mid range isn't too high at all, but it's on the 'high side'... we'll see how it goes on the dyno and what the AFRs are like I'm sure it's all good!

15 psi 'up top'. You can run higher psi in the mid range but not all the way to redline as it will just be spinning wildly but making no power.

'bout 17-18 max

Ideally at that level you'd have a little less back pressure (exhaust side) and some cooling mods (whether intake or intercooler)

I find with meth 17.5psi tapered to 13 towards redline is a happy medium.
I have E85 in the tank, the BMS COBB map and JB4 with meth and i'm running 18psi tapered to 14 and it feels strong.
